I probably use 100's of different marketing tools, products and resources - from advertising companies to website hosting companies, from graphics and text tools to software.

Over time, these things change, below are some of my current favorites.

Website Hosting

I use multiple web hosts for different reasons. The main reason is because as the saying goes, I don't want "all my eggs in one basket".

Plus, when cross-promoting my websites as I always do, you REALLY want them to come from multiple IP addresses as it will help your search engine rankings. In layman's terms...I have a page on every website that I build that lists MANY of my other websites (cross-promoting). That gets me tons of backlinks that I can control, and backlinks are the Holy Grail of SEO.

I never list all of my websites on any one other site as I like to mix it up for the search engines. Having links coming from mulptiple IP addresses looks much more natural to the search engines, because it is.

The other big reason I use multiple web hosts is because I use different platforms to build different kinds of websites depending on what the site's purpose is.

So for example, I like building WordPress blogs/sites and I like building WYSIWYG sites, but you can't host a WordPress blog on a WYSIWYG hosting platform.

C-Panel Web Hosts:

Hostgator - I have had an account with Hostgator non-stop since 2005. They host a large percentage of my websites. They offer everything a web hosting company should and have great customer service. Depending on the web hosting package, you can host an unlimited number of sites there for one low monthly fee. PLUS, you can become a "Reseller" and sell website hosting to others.

BlueHost - Ditto what I said above except I don't host a lot of websites there, but I still love their hosting.

WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) Web Hosts:

CityMax - They use a WYSIWYG platform. I have had an account with them non-stop for many years. I have multiple sites hosted there in multiple accounts. The ONE thing I don't like is that each website costs like $19.95/mo. In my opinion, currently, that's too expensive compared to the competition.

Moonfruit - They use a WYSIWYG platform. I have had an account with them non-stop for several years. I have multiple sites hosted there in multiple accounts. I love virtually everything about Moonfruit. My favorite feature is that I can host an unlimited number of sites there for one low annual fee.

WebStarts - I love virtually everything there is about WebStarts. Because they have a Page 6 rank, your website can rank very highly, very quickly. If I were starting over today, this is the place I would start building my website(s).
